I have got a sever case of foot in the mouth going on over here. Anyone
who thinks MM Generator's speed even comes close to JGenerator is sadly
mistaking.
I have a few lists that would take Generator EE and DE around 5 minutes
to Generate. I thought it was the DB server's fault. To my surprise it
was all Generator. The same list generated in less than 15 seconds with
JGenerator.
I also noticed other generated pages being generated much faster.
Nice job, this is software that actually works.

I just wanted to drop you a note and thank you for the amazing jgenerator application.
This is the way this product should be.
The application is truly shining beacon in the open source development structure.
This application beats out Macromedia Generator in so many ways it's not even funny.
Your xml implementation allowed us to overcome a huge hurdle for a client and save
all of us a huge headache of transforming the xml into name value pairs.
What a nightmare that would have been.

Initially planning on recommending my client to purchasie the original, I am now more in favour

I saw you project two weeks ago and I am very deeply impressed.
I tested it for our projects, it works like a rocket under solaris and
linux! I have customized several own flash files and combined it
with server side java (JSP, Taglibs) - it works great.

I work for a company that does a great deal of work with dynamic Flash and, in particular, Generator.
I've been experimenting with JGenerator recently as we would like a faster, pure Java implementation
with a public interface in order to give us more felxibility and better performance.
So far I've had pretty good luck with JGenerator, both through the servlet interface and Java api,
and our own benchmarks indicate that using JGenerator locally is far more efficient than using
Macromedia Generator over the network.

Hi, my partner and I just installed your new version under Enhydra 4.0 (June 19 build)/Redhat 7.0
Works great! I'm not using a servlet.config, but the web.xml entries you supplied for Tomcat work fine for Enhydra.
My partner was able to integrate you java code in less than an hour.

we are not very satisfied using MM generator for several reasons (license
high , low speed.) so when i found that you were developing jgenerator, i
quickly downloaded it, installed it and tried it !
so firstly, congratulations for your brilliant work !! [:)]
jgenerator seems to be very powerful, easy to use, and as you said in
benchmark section, faster than MM generator (and producing smaller files
too).
